Who runs this and how
Compsetly Data is an automated project of Compsetly (compsetly.com). Pages are generated by software from public data; no editor writes or checks each page. The site is rebuilt on a schedule (about every 12 hours, since the sources change slowly) and every page shows when its data last changed.
Sources
- NHTSA recalls data and API (US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration; public, no key)
- SERPAVI (Spanish Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda; declared rents from tax sources)
Text from official sources (for example NHTSA's campaign summaries) is quoted unchanged and attributed. Counts, rankings and variations are calculated by this site; the formula and a worked example are on each page under “Extended data”.
Quality gates
A page exists only if it passes minimum-fact checks in code: for recalls, at least 2 campaigns with complete NHTSA text, enough distinct facts, and not a near-copy of another page; for Spanish rents, a minimum sample size, a complete statistical series and enough facts. Pages that fail are skipped, never published with blanks.
What we do not do
We give no medical, safety or legal advice beyond pointing to the official source (for recalls, to check your VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls). We do not rewrite official safety statements. This site has no ads, no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts.
Limits and corrections
Automated output can be wrong or out of date; there is no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Always check the linked official source. Corrections: see compsetly.com.
